A new romantic release, showing erect growth habit and sweet fragrant flower balls reminiscent of historic roses. The flowers are delicate, but the plant is extremely robust and grows up to a height of 120 cm. This variety is dedicated to princess Alexandra of Luxembourg.

Alexandra Princesse de Luxemburg

Im 1.Jahr wunderschön, dann habe ich sie vielleicht falsch „beschnitten“? Wie tief sollte man sie/ wann? zurückschneiden?

Our feedback: Hallo, da es sich um eine Strauchrose handelt, sollte man diese im Frühjahr um ein Drittel einkürzen. Wenn Sie zu hoch wird, kann man durchaus auch um die Hälfte zurückschneiden. Viele Grüße Ihr Kordes-Rosen Team

Eine meiner Lieblingsrosen

Wir haben diese Rose vor 7 Jahren gekauft, mittlerweile hat sie sie ihre 150 cm Wuchshöhe längst eingeholt und sie wächst bis in den Rosenbogen. Ihre Blüten sind wirklich so wunderschön, dass ich nicht vorbeigehen kann, ohne stehen zu bleiben und zu schauen.

Ich liebe die Prinzessin von Luxemburg

Habe sie ja nun auch schon etliche Jahre. Jeden Sommer freue ich mich wieder an ihr. So schöne Blüten! Sie sehen so zart und porzellanig ;))) aus. Steht bei mir im Halbschatten. Neben Salbei und der Grasnelke, beide wegen der Blattfarbe, macht sie sich prächtig. Wir haben hier Kleieboden. Nach einer Eingewöhnungszeit scheinen die Rosen diesen aber zu lieben. Blattgesundheit ist top! Meine volle Kaufempfehlung!

Herrlich diese Alt Luxemburgische Rose.

Eine wunderbare Rose, da ich aus Luxemburg komme weiß ich wie wunderbar diese alten Rosen waren. Mit dieser habe ich nun zwei im Garten, Alexandra hat sich nun zur Louise Odier gesellt.

Empfehlenswert

Standort: Südseite, Hausmauer. Seit 10 Jahren ein Blickfang. Ist völlig unkompliziert, kein Mehltau, aber ab Juli etwas anfällig für Sternrußtau. Blüht unermüdlich bis in den Herbst, wenn regelmäßig das Verblühte entfernt wird. Meine Beste!

Sehr empfehlenswert

Alex.-Princ. de Lux. habe ich mehr aus Verlegenheit gekauft, da der Rosenmarkt durch den kalten Winter nicht viel zu bieten hatte. Diese Rose ist super für den Halbschatten geeignet (Sonne erst ab dem Nachnmitt. 16:00 Uhr). Für Kordes Rosen besitzt sie einen außergewöhnlichen Charme in jeder Blühphase und bei jedem Wetter (Starkregen, sowie Hitze bis 28 Grad). Total gesundes Blattwerk, der Duft ist leicht aber ausreichend vorhanden. Nach 4 Wochen ausgepflanzt ( in gute Erde und einen 80 l Kübel) treibt sie schnell durch und blüht jetzt schon an 4 Trieben reichlich. Gut geeignet für den Vasenschnitt (habe ich gleich an der ersten Blüte getestet) .Werde mir noch eine 2. dazu kaufen, damit ich mehr Fülle bekomme bei einer Höhe von 1,50m. Den endgültigen Platz werde ich dann in Ruhe aussuchen. Aus einem Verlegenheitskauf wurde so ein Glücksgriff.
