“Portorož“ was named after a seaport in Slovenia and was decorated ADR in 2013. The colour of its semi-doubled flower cups which are fruitily scented, changes from intense orange to tender apricot.

Wunderschön und gesund

Ich bekam diese Rose wurzelnackt im April und habe sie in einem großen Kübel auf der Südterrasse stehen. Jetzt ist sie bereits 1,15m hoch und schön buschig gewachsen. Sie blüht gerade das zweite Mal sehr sehr üppig. Die Blüten sind im aufblühen aprikotorange, wechseln dann in ein warmes honiggelb und verblassen am Ende zu einem cremeton. An einem Stiel sitzen hier bis zu 10! Blüten. Ein bisschen Regen überstehen sie genauso gut wie 34 grad Mittagshitze. Das Laub ist mittelgrün und bis jetzt extrem gesund. Während viele andere Rosen in meinem Garten bereits Sternrußtau oder Mehltau haben ist diese hier bis zur Erde dicht belaubt und gesund. Dazu kommt ein leichter sehr angenehmer Duft. Sie ist mit sehr vielen bösen Dornen besetzt, was ich aber nicht schlimm finde. Ich würde diese Rose jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
