Early flowering, popular floribunda because of its colour, abundance of flowers and its hardiness, frost-resistant.

This rose lures - in contrast to the bright yellow of its petals - with an arcane, oriental-mystic scent. Almost narcotic bewitches the impression of iris and patchouli. The scent unites with sensual-flowery aspects similar to those of jasmine or ylang-ylang. In between green notes gleam, which remind of freshly cut box tree. Fruity notes like litchi or apple put a special note on the accord. Finally the scent opens into a soft-velvety fond of vanilla and apricot.

Tolle Rose, Laub leider anfällig für Pilze

Unermüdlich blühende und toll durftende Rose, das Gelb verblasst auch nicht im Abblühen. Nachteil: Ich habe sie auf einer Südböschung vor dem Haus stehen, vollsonnig. Abwechselnd Regen und große Hitze mag sie gar nicht, heuer stand sie wochenlang ohne Blätter da - die waren von Sternrußtau befallen und abgefallen. Werde Friesia schweren Herzens gegen eine Sorte mit unempfindlichen Laub austauschen.

Wunderschöne robuste Rose

Die Fresia steht seit 25 Jahren bei uns Zuhause und sie gehört definitiv zu meinen Lieblingen. Sie ist sehr robust, hat einen wunderbaren betörend Duft und blüht von Juni bis zum Frost. Würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

ganz nett im Juni

Seit 6 Jahren habe ich drei Friesia. Sie stehen luftig und sonnig. Sie kommen (angehäufelt) gut über den Winter (Erzgebirge 450m), frieren aber bis unten hin weg. Nach dem Rückschnitt treiben sie gut aus und liefern im Juni eine schöne erste Blüte in einem eher kühlen Gelbton. Wenn man Glück hat, kann man dann den Duft auch schon aus der näheren Umgebung riechen, ohne dass man sich runterbücken muss. Die Blüten sind regenfest und verblühen sauber. Kaum dass mal eine verfault. Aber die Einzelblüte hält nur wenige Tage. Im Herbst blüht sie nur schwach nach. Die Blätter leiden jedes Jahr an SRT, ganz selten an Mehltau. Wenn ich im Frühling mit Brennesseljauche dünge, bekommt ihr das sehr gut. Chemische Mittel kommen bei mir nicht zum Einsatz. Sie wächst absolut straff und aufrecht. Ca. 60 cm hoch und 40 cm breit.

habe diese Rose nun schon das 3. Jahr: obwohl ich in einer rauhen Gegend wohne, hat die Rose den Winter gut überstanden, das Gelb leuchtet herrlich, erinnert an Zitronen, bis die Blütenblatter abfallen, der Duft ist sehr intensiv, ist relativ regenfest und treibst ständig neue Blüten

Friesia

Friesia duftet wunderbar. Sie hat ein kräftiges gelb.Ihr wuchs wird jedes Jahr höher und buschiger, was natürlich auch zu mehr Blüten führt.Ist nicht besonders anfällig gegen Rosenrost und deshalb sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein Dufttraum

ein unermüdlicher Dauerblüher mit leuchtendem Gelb, welches auch nach dem Verblühen nicht verblaßt. Der Duft ist einzigartig. Die Rose steht in der Nähe einer Thujahecke, was zu einem sehr schönen Kontrast führt. Pilzkrankheiten sind bisher nur minimal aufgetreten, eine Behandlung dagegen war nicht nötig. Selbst die beiden letzten harten Winter im Hunsrück hat diese Rose problemlos überstanden. Wir haben einfach eine Schilfrohrmatte um die Pflanze gestellt und bereits jetzt im Februar können wir den neuen Austrieb sehen. Diese Rose muß man einfach haben
